Aberdeen Overseas Properties Ltd. and AOP (Spain) are very pleased to be appointed as Independent Agents for Polaris World Resorts and Polaris Wold Properties, located mainly in the Murcia, Mar Menor and and Costa Calida regions of Spain.
The UK Company was established in 2000, with its office, in Union Street, Aberdeen, initially aimed at providing a reliable and locally based overseas property finding service for clients in Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland.  With the advent of the Internet however, clients were attracted to our personalised and independent service from all over the UK and Ireland. In 2003, the company became members of The Federation of Overseas Property Developers, Agents and Consultants, whose member’s objectives are, to provide clients with sound advice and work in an ethical manner.

In January 2005, the new AOP(Spain) office was opened as an independent Spanish real estate agency and as a client support office, to directly serve clients of Aberdeen Overseas Properties Ltd. and sub-agents at the front line of operations in the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida areas of Spain.

 

Service to our clients
Where a client has a specific project in mind such as devlopments offered by Polaris World Resorts, a full day is generally sufficient to appreciate the surrounding areas, the developments and properties that are on offer. Our service is there to help clients find their ideal location and property without the pressures, time constraints and obligations that can be associated with subsidised, high-pressure, fast track inspection visits.

Our property finding service is free, no matter how long it takes us. As with any agent we receive a commission from the builders (or private sellers in the case of a resale), which is generally included in the published selling price and not added on. As we are a small independent company, we are not subject to high volumes of clients, the pressures of sales targets, financing fleets of luxury cars or expensive TV / Press adverts etc. so we are more able to provide a less regimented, more personalised property finding service, especially for those who want to take more time before making the big decision.
As part of our free service, we offer to collect you from the airport on your arrival (Alicante or Murcia), we can pre-arrange suitable accommodation to suit your personal taste and budget, show you the areas and the property options you’ve shown an interest in. We also welcome those who are travelling on their own in the area looking for property and may want some support.
When clients decide to buy a property, we help to guide them through the entire process and oversee the progress of the conveyancing transaction on their behalf. We do always recommend using the services of an independent solicitor whenever buying new or resale property in a foreign country.

We are currently offering a 1% refund / cashback* on most new properties purchased via our services, which generally covers inspection visit costs for two people.
* 1% of basic purchase price, upon completion of the sale at the signing of the escritura(deeds) at the Notary.
